This year, in an effort to be more inclusive and more representative of our incredibly diverse student body, we’re creating a culture committee. With teachers Ms. Cabrera and Ms. Lissitsyna representing the teachers, we’d like people of all races, nationalities, from all countries and cultures, speaking all languages to be a part of it! You’ll help be an ambassador for your culture group and make sure they are represented, communicated with effectively and celebrated. Lots of incredible opportunity with this great new group of people. We highly encourage you to sign up for this. We need dynamic people to help us serve all of the beautiful communities at Gardner Street. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested!
We need people to help us sell shirts and other Gardner Gear spirit wear before and after school on Thursdays or at random other events. It’s a great way to ease your way into volunteering. Contact Susan Galofaro if you’re interested!
Are you a hustler who makes things happen? We need you to help us get businesses on board with supporting our school. This may include selling banners, event sponsorship or just general donations and placement on our webpage. Contact email@example.com if you’re interested!
We need someone to run this year’s coin drive. It involves organizing the drive and collecting, sorting and tracking coin donations. This volunteer job is MONEY. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested.
Do you have a green thumb? Or at least don’t kill every plant you touch? Or perhaps you just want to learn a little more about gardening? We need gardening assistants to help our Garden Ranger during their classes. Must be available Wednesdays and times are to be determined. Contact Seema if you’re interested.
Every class attends weekly art class and is always in need of parents to help set up, wash paint brushes and encourage creative exploration. If you’d like to volunteer in your child’s class or another, please contact Miss Rebecca.
We need parent volunteers to help open doors, unbuckle seatbelts and get kids out of the car quickly and safely every morning starting at 7:45 am. Want to help? Please contact the front office.
